I was tasked with making dessert - which is easier said than done when the Mexican pudding cannon seems to consist of nothing much apart from churros, flan and rice pudding. I opted for chili chocolate cupcakes and cinnamon tortilla chips with creamy maple and pecan dip. The chili chocolate cupcakes were very rich, chocolatey and had a real kick to them, and the tortilla chips were a beautifully sweet way to finish the meal.
We left Anna and Adam's with full bellies and a warm feeling inside, having been whisked away to the heart of Mexico for a few hours.
Adam took some lovely photographs of the night, a selection of which are below. As a freelance photographer and a brilliant blogger, Adam's website is certainly worth checking out if you're looking for a photo or two to be taken in the Leeds area. You can also find him on Facebook at Adam Robinson Photography, or you can have a chat with him on Twitter.

Looks delicious! I love Mexican food, and am a big fan of Wahaca but haven't managed to get my hands on a Thomosina Myers book yet. Might have to be one for payday :)
